This talk will provide glimpses of various phenomena involving superconductors, ferromagnets and topological insulators, using molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) to create ultra thin films, heterostructures and their nano devices. For example, one can tune superconductivity with exchange fields or spin currents for creating a perfect spin switch, reach dissipationless spin-polarized current in topological insulators, and so on.  It sets the stage to look for Majorana fermions. Along the way unexpected physics can be expected.
