Outreach

We are dedicated to promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education opportunities for students at all grade levels and members of the general public. With the participation of PSFC faculty, researchers, staff and students, our outreach program aims on expand understanding of plasma science, fusion, and future energy scenarios. Employing both on-site interactive experiences and a growing library of online content, our goal is to reach a broad and diverse audience. Through educational collaborations with professional organizations and other energy laboratories, we are able to further extend our reach. We also works with the interdepartmental network of similar outreach groups within MIT to address the problems of scientific illiteracy on a larger scale.
