This presentation will give the audience a view into the MIT high-energy-density physics accelerator lab. The lab is used to develop diagnostics that then get implemented and used on the major national inertial confinement fusion (ICF) facilities OMEGA, NIF, and Z. In addition to showcasing the lab’s capabilities, the audience will also get a glimpse of how experiments at OMEGA, NIF, and Z work, and how the diagnostics developed at MIT contribute to the national ICF program.
